The vision for Modern Romantics started long before Jordyn Schirripa started the company in 2021. It began with a love for fashion, photography, weddings, people in love, travel and everything in between. It grew from a love for finding unique & fun pieces to style bridal looks, a growing Pinterest board of ideas, and the yearning for a new creative outlet. With the support of her family and friends, Jordyn decided to take her years of experience as a wedding photographer, working in retail, and her college intern experience in New York City and start something new, and thus Modern Romantics was born.

Jordyn’s focus for her photography business has always stemmed from the phrase “wedding photographer for the modern romantics,” and when dreaming up this shop, she knew that her dream brides, the ones she just meshed with and really understood when it comes to photography and aesthetic were honestly the people she was creating this shop for.
